The Saga Collection #036 Luke Skywalker (Escape From Mos Eisley) Review

#036 Luke SkywalkerWhile I don't recall ever seeing Luke wear both his poncho and floppy hat at the same time, including both accessories is much appreciated. And accessorize is exactly what this figure does best with it's nice pack out of items both new and old. The figure itself is old, but has a new headsculpt to make it feel new. What's the verdict? Read on for the review and 25 photos!

The Saga Collection #042 C-3PO (Battle of Endor) Review

#042 C-3POCollectors have been dreaming of a C-3PO with bendable knees for a long, long time and Hasbro has finally delivered the goods with this figure! The great thing is that Hasbro didn't stop at just bendable knees but have gone the extra mile in making this the most articulated C-3PO made yet. And let's not forget about that Ewok throne! Lots of good stuff in this set so read on for the review and 28 photos!

The Saga Collection Shadow Stormtrooper (StarWarsShop.com Exclusive) Review

Shadow StormtrooperFans of the Crimson Empire comic mini-series have a lot to celebrate with the upcoming Kir Kanos and Carnor Jax 2-pack and this figure here, the Shadow Stormtrooper. This figure represents Carnor Jax's personal guards, who are sort of like what the royal guards were to the Emperor, just less skilled. Personally chosen by Jax, these black armor-clad stormtroopers will do his bidding till death. Don't know who Carnor Jax or Kir Kanos is? Then I recommend reading Crimson Empire; it's a good read! Anyway, read on for the review and 23 photos!

The Saga Collection #039 Chief Chirpa (Battle of Endor) Review

#039 Chief ChirpaI was able to get myself Chief Chirpa and C-3PO from the new Battle of Endor wave, and they turned out to be great figures. The Saga Collection #037 Sandtrooper (Escape From Mos Eisley) Review

#037 SandtrooperOnce I learned that this sandtrooper figure would be based around the VOTC stormtrooper, I knew I had to have it. After not seeing it in stores for over a month, I broke down and ordered it online. Was it worth it? Yes! Great articulation, some new accessories, and the ability to turn this into a normal stormtrooper make this quite a figure. Read on for the review and 29 photos!

The Saga Collection #032 R5-D4 (Escape From Mos Eisley) Review

TSC #032 R5-D4Finally. After years of requests and waiting for a proper R5-D4 figure, we're finally getting one. Thankfully R5 uses the newer astromech body and even features the 'bad motivator' that pops out of his head in Episode IV. Read on for the review and 22 photos!

The Saga Collection #038 Darth Vader (Bespin Confession) Review

#038 Darth VaderI usually don't like buying figures I already own, unless they include new items or something somehow unique. The Saga Collection Darth Vader figures have been iffy buys for me (I still haven't opened up my #013 Darth Vader), but I feel that this Darth Vader had enough new things going on that it was worthy of opening. Read on for the review and 24 photos!

The Saga Collection #034 Garindan (Escape from Mos Eisley) Review

#034 GarindanGarindan wasn't at the top of my list of figures to be resculpted, but in the end I'm glad they did. Looking back at the Power of the Force 2 figure is like looking at a bad caricature. The new Garindan is very accurate and sports some great sculpting. Read on for the review and 25 photos!

The Saga Collection Astromech Droid Pack Series 1 and 2 (Entertainment Earth Exclusive) Review

Astromech Droid Pack Series 1 and 2

Things have been a bit slow around here in terms of new figures; I've been seeing a lot of the Episode III Saga repacks at my stores which I'm mostly passing on. Expect to see some slightly older figures being reviewed with the occassional new figure mixed in. On that note, today we have a review of the Entertainment Earth Astromech Droid Packs I and II! I figured, why review one set, when you can review two? Read on for the review and 42 photos!

The Saga Collection #026 Clone Trooper (Utapau) Review

#026 Clone Trooper (Utapau)I love clone trooper action figures...especially when they actually appear in the movie! While the white clone trooper's appearance in Revenge of the Sith is dubious, the Utapau clones are some of the most featured in the film. Hasbro has given us a great repaint of the old ROTS #41 clone with this figure and the results are great. Read on for the review and 23 photos!
