Saga 2002 #55 Imperial Officer Review

Today we have a review of an older figure from the end of the '02 Saga line. I'm only reviewing him now because I've only just found him! My local Target is starting to put out some of the late '02 and early '03 figures which is a good thing because I personally haven't seen too many of them. Anyhoo, on with the review!

Saga 2002 #44 Ki-Adi-Mundi (Jedi Master) Review

Ki-Adi-Mundi is one of the best characters to come out of the prequel trilogy (at least in my opinion), and to go with his re-appearance in AOTC, Hasbro has made his figure re-appear with some slight changes. Read on for the review and 7 photos!

Saga 2002 #46 Teemto Pagalies (Pod Racer) Review

One of the untapped character wells of the Star Wars prequels is the pod racers. There's plenty of pod racers that have yet to be made into figure form, and now there's one less thanks to this Teemto Pagalies figure. No, he doesn't have his own pod racer to fit in, but at least he comes with a piece of it...Read on for the review and 6 photos!

Saga 2002 #45 Ephant Mon (Jabba's Head of Security) Review

The third Fan's Choice figure is here and it's well worth the wait! Ephant Mon is probably the biggest basic figure in the history of Star Wars figures. Props to Hasbro, who could have made this into a deluxe figure to make a few extra bucks. Read on for the review and 7 photos!

Every once in a while, Hasbro throws in some Expanded Universe stuff, and somtimes it's cool but other times it just doesn't come out too good. This Darth Maul figure attempts to show him at a time when he was still being trained in the dark side of the Force. Read on for the review and 7 photos!

Saga 2002 #36 Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Starfighter Pilot) Review

One of the great things about Star Wars toys are the vehicles, and with any vehicle, you're gonna want the appropriate pilot figure to go with it. So it was with much dismay that Hasbro didn't release a pilot Obi-Wan figure with the Jedi Starfighter. Heck, they could have at least released an AOTC Obi-Wan that could fit in the cockpit, but that didn't happen. So here he is, a proper pilot Obi-Wan figure. Read on for the review and 12 photos!

Saga 2002 #34 Massiff Review

The Massiffs were originally slated to appear on both Tatooine and Geonosis, but by the time the movie came out, the scenes where they would have appeared on Geonosis were cut. This figure was obviously designed before these changes were made--a testament to how far in advance figure development begins in relation to the movie's opening. Saga 2002 #14 R2-D2 (Coruscant Sentry) Review

R2-D2 is one of those characters that are perfect for action features...if only he weren't so small. Despite the figure's small size, Hasbro has managed to put in a bunch of electronics. Sure, this isn't the first time they've done it, but it is the first time they're offering one as a basic figure. Read on for the review and 6 photos!

The year 2002 will mark the year that Hasbro throws out the realism they've been slowly acheiving in their figures for buffed-up looks, screaming headsculpts, and kid-friendly action features. It's like 1995 all over again! Yea! I mean boo...BOOOOOOO! Once you get this Padme figure in you're hands, you're sure to say "What a piece of junk!" Except that this doesn't "have it where it counts".
