If you have the Attack of the Clones DVD or have seen the deleted scenes from the movie, then you've most likely seen these two. I'm surprised Hasbro decided to release these figures, knowing that the scene they were in was deleted from the movie proper. From my own perspective, it seems it was a wise choice; I've only seen these figures twice at my local toy stores and they don't hang around for long. But whether that's because fans have been starved for new product or because they really like these robots is unknown to me. Read on for the review and 14 photos!
UPDATE: Thanks to a reader known only as "AMD", I have learned that at least one of the droids appears in the actual movie! Three droids that look very similar to SP-4 can be spotted in the Coruscant docking bay scene where Anakin and Padme leave for Naboo. Click HERE to see a screen cap and look for them at the left side of the image.

Star Wars figures have come a long way since the original figures from the seventies. Heck, they've come a long way since 1995! But every once in a while, along comes a figure that makes you scratch your head and wonder how it has come to this. Obi-Wan Kenobi Acklay Battle is one of those figures... As we all know, Hasbro has sub-titles for most of their basic figures (such as "Geonosian Rescue" or in this case, "Secret Ceremony") and for the most part, they do a good job of labeling them correctly. However, this figure is perhaps the worst sub-title that I have seen. "Secret Ceremony" obviously refers to the secret wedding of Anakin and Padme, but the figure itself is so inappropriate for recreating such a scene that using the sub-title was a big mistake in my opinion. This figure is made for action scenes, not for wedding ceremonies. It seems the only reason they used "Secret Ceremony" is because Anakin is sporting his robotic right arm. This set is a Wal Mart exclusive. After hearing all the disappointed grunts from collectors, I was sure I wasn't going to buy these sets. Then I came to my senses and realized that I love the trash compactor scene and that I should have these sets. Read on for the review and 18 photos!

R2-D2 is one of those characters that are perfect for action features...if only he weren't so small. Despite the figure's small size, Hasbro has managed to put in a bunch of electronics. Sure, this isn't the first time they've done it, but it is the first time they're offering one as a basic figure. Read on for the review and 6 photos!

There are plenty of Jedi in Attack of the Clones, which means we're gonna get plenty of Jedi figures. The Nikto Jedi (Nikto is the name of his species, not his actual name) is another pre-posed figure, with a wacky Jedi Force wind accessory...thing. Read on for the review and 5 photos!

Shouldn't it be Darth Tyranus' instead of Darth Tyranus's? That extra s on the end just isn't proper english. Anyway, Dooku's ride is here in toy form and it's pretty good. They've incoporated the action feature into the bike instead on in the figure. Read on for the review and 14 photos!
