I can't believe it's almost turkey-time! Work has been keeping me busy, but thankfully the holidays have given me some time to finish this review which I started, oh, three weeks ago. Repaints are usually ho-hum figures, but some of these last ROTS figures are an exception. R4-P17 uses the awesome R4-G9 sculpt, and you can't complain about that! Hasbro gets a little gruesome with the burnt up Anakin Skywalker with battle damage! This figure features a very burnt-looking Anakin complete with removable legs. Swap out the arms and head and pull on the Jedi cloak to make an unburnt Anakin. Read on for the review and 29 photos!

Anakin Skywalker with slashing attack gets the review treatment today and it's actually a decent figure...if you like action features. Yes, the action feature is solid and works like a well-oiled machine. Squeeze Anakin's legs and he hacks and slashes and hacks and slashes ad nauseum. The Super-articulated clone trooper from the Clone Wars line was one of those figures that propelled the Star Wars action figure line to new standards. Hasbro showed us that they could do super-articulated figures and the end result was everything we all dreamed of. Now, Hasbro revisits the super-articulated clone trooper in the ROTS line, with minor changes and additions. While this figure doesn't quite have the same impact that the Clone Wars clone had, it's still a solid and fun figure. This was one of those figures I couldn't wait to get my hands on. Removable helmet? YESSSS! Ball-jointed hips? HELL YESSSS!!! This is the first Star Wars figure in this scale to have good ball-jointed hips and they rock. Ah, the Clone Commander. This figure was immediately on most collector's hit lists, and there's a good reason for that--he's freakin awesome! Agen Kolar was one of the Jedi figures I most wanted to get--his plastic, removable robes interested me from the beginning. The clone pilots got some good screen time in Revenge of the Sith, and you can extend their story even further than the movie did with the action figures. Clone Troopers are always a welcome addition, and this one's better than expected. At first I thought the action feature would totally make this figure lame, but I was wrong. Here he is, the villain as he was when he first donned his black suit, the one and only Darth Vader! This ROTS version of Vader is definitely aimed towards those with playability in mind as this figure is action-feature-centric.
