Sculpt--3.5/5 Plo Koon's pose isn't as exteme as some of his fellow Jedi, which may or may not be good depending on your tastes. He does have a good action pose though, and there's actually a good variety of poses you can get out of him. The headsculpt is pretty good, but I kind of like his POTJ headsculpt better. On this Koon, his extrasensory organs (those two lumps on the side of his head) are molded seperate from the rest of the head along with his face mask. Unfortunately, it's pretty obvious that the organs are seperate pieces, marring the overall look of the headsculpt.
Oh yeah, one negative thing about his pose is that he can be a bit hard to stand up. I almost forgot I was using an action-stand this whole time!
Articulation--3.5/5 Plo Koon has eight points of articulation: neck, shoulders, bicep-cuts on both arms, waist, and hips. The bicep-cuts are excellent for multiple lightsaber poses, and are also good for imagining him using the Force. Wrist joints would have made this category a definite 4 out of 5.
Accessories--2.5/5 You get Plo Koon's lightsaber and a Force Effect accessory. The lightsaber is different from his POTJ lightsaber, which is a bummer for me because I liked that one a lot better. This lightsaber hilt seems like it was based off of half of Darth Maul's lightsaber. The blade is of course detachable and is blue in color. Plo Koon has a hole on his belt, much like POTJ Eeth Koth, but his lightsaber hilt has no peg to go in it.
The Force effect is really rediculous-looking in my opinion. If such an effect is actually seen in the movie, then I can see why Hasbro would make such an accessory, but for now I'd rather use my imagination thank you very much.
Paint--1/5 Yikes! This Plo Koon looks almost like a whole different person compared to his POTJ incarnation. His skin is now a dark orange. It's much too dark and doesn't match the photo of him on the packaging. The skin design on his head does seem more accurate this time around, but his skin is so dark, you can barely make it out. Also, because his organs were painted seperately from his head, looking at them from the back looks incredibly strange since they didn't paint that side of them. Plo Koon's hands are also painted very, very badly and is very messy around the wrist area.
Overall--3/5 The paint job is bad, but the figure has good poseability. Plo Koon could have been a 4/5 figure but falls a bit short. He's still a good buy if you like and are collecting all the Jedi.
