Sculpt--2/5 Good Lord why?! Whyyyyyyy??!! This could have been a really nice figure but Hasbro chose to muck it up and make something that gives me flashbacks of He-Man Luke Skywalker. Padme's body is pretty buffed up and a bit over-sexualized if you know what I mean. In other words, this would have made a much better Lara Croft figure than a Padme Amidala figure.
The headsculpt is pretty decent however, and actually resembles Natalie Portman. Unfortunately, her head and her body are totally misproportioned, making her head look very small. Her body is the real culprit though; stand her next to Coruscant Chase Obi-Wan and you'll find that they're the same size! I'm pretty sure Natalie Portman is shorter than Ewan. (Update: comparing Padme to other figures such as Kit Fisto or Plo Koon, I've found that she may not be out of scale. It now appears that Coruscant Chase Obi-wan is the one who is too short in comparison to other figures! I still think Padme is a misproportioned figure in itself tho.)
Articulation/Features--1/5 Goodness gracious, does the horror ever end? Padme is articulated in six places: neck, shoulders, waist, and hips. Most of these points of articulation are worthless and the waist and right-shoulder only move for the "quick-draw" feature. The quick-draw feature is pretty stupid in my opinion. There's no way to keep her in a non-shooting position and the mechanics of it all make her right shoulder look ugly. Plus, her grip on the gun isn't too good, so if you don't keep the clear rubberband that holds it to her hand, you can start calling her "Gun Flinging Padme".
Accessories--5/5 Most definitely the best thing about this figure. You get the stone pillar that breaks into two pieces, the battle-droid blaster rifle, and a real metal chain! For me, the chain is the star of this set, as I wasn't expecting such a quality accessory. At both ends of the chain is a ring much like a miniature key-ring. I could totally see this being customized for use with Slave Leia or a captured Chewy. The rifle is standard fare, and the pillar is nice and would be great for a diorama.
Paint--3/5 The paint on this figure is not bad, but it's not anything spectacular.
Overall--2/5 This figure is very close to bantha poodoo...actually it is bantha poodoo, but I'm just so dang impressed with the metal chain :P Anyway, if you're not a completist, I don't think you need this figure. Unless you're in love with Natalie Portman...
