Sculpt--4/5
I could just copy and paste the exact same text from my older Imperial Officer review, but that wouldn't be very fun, would it? And I'm not going to rant about how I would rather have the more prevalant Imperial dress uniform instead of the rarely-seen coveralls this fellow is wearing (this sentence will do). What I will say is that this figure still looks great, and the new headsculpt is different enough to make this and the old POTJ version easily distinguishable from one another. This headsculpt has the officer's cap low over the eyes so you can't see his eyebrows. This officer also has a much larger chin and smaller sideburns. A good headsculpt, and one that will add some variation to your Imperial forces. There is also a second new headsculpt showing up on the Saga card for a total of three different headsculpts for the Imperial Officer.
Articulation--4/5 Same great articulation as before. Neck, shoulders, bicep-cuts, wrist-cuts, waist and hips make this a figure with lots of poseability options.
Features--NA/5 Just as before, there are no features associated with this figure.
Accessories--2/5 Besides the headsculpt, this is one area where a change would have been welcome. All we get is the Imperial blaster, which is what we got before. That's not a bad thing, but I've become used to getting more with my Star Wars figures! It's a good thing they started including stands with the newer re-releases, it's just too bad they didn't think of it sooner.
Paint--4/5 Great paintjob. This officer has blond hair as opposed to the brown hair of the POTJ version.
Overall--4/5 While it's light on the accessories, this figure is still one of the better Star Wars figures ever created. I applaud Hasbro for choosing to do multiple headsculpts on their army-builders; it's a great idea and I hope they continue it. I'd still like to see an Imperial Officer in the dress uniform, so Hasbro, I hope you're listening! Okay, I'll shut up now.
