I Need Your Input!
Well, things haven't been going so well with the new site. The review script that I am thinking about using doesn't have the features I'd like, and if I do use it, I'd have to basically reformat the way reviews are done.
So here's the deal: I can go ahead an go with the review script, or I can try to find something better (a bit unlikely unless someone can make a custom script for me), or I can just leave the site how it is now.
If I go with the review script, anyone can create an account and then write reviews for any figure and it will automatically be put on the site (once I approve it, that is). The downside is that we'd have to kind of get rid of the Overal score for a figure. You see, this review script creates it's own Overall score and it's an average of the other attribute scores (Sculpting, Articulation, Paint, etc.). This is contrary to what I've been doing where the Overall score is NOT an average as I feel that sometimes a figure's greatness is not the sum of its parts. It's something I may have to conceed to though in the interest of the site's longevity.
There are other little nagging things about the review script, but the above problem is the only one I can't do anything about.
So I ask you, dear readers, what should I do? Go ahead and use the script or just keep the site the way it is?

If the averaging score does not fit with your personal overall score, can't you simply type your personal score in the text, followed by the calculated average score? In any case, I don't want this site to continue sleeping. Any review is better than none at all :P

I've always considered this one of the best if not ~the~ best sites for SW figure reviews. Personally, I'd hate to see it change.

Thanks for the comments so far guys, it's really made me rethink things.
How's this for yet another suggestion: keep the site the way it is, but add a forum where people can write their own reviews and discuss reviews/figures, etc.?
Let me know what you think!

That might be the best option, leave the main review page to your own reviews and use the new script for a forum in which we can add our own reviews.

That sounds good, keep the site as it is. But add a forum where other people could add their reviews!
If you would find a good review that fits your opinion, maybe you could post a link to that ne on the site too?

You should do what you feel is right of course. ;) I like the site as is, but if you had your heart set on upgrades, that would be fine too. I just wanna see new reviews and info up again. This site has been asleep for too long...
